The house was spotless, had everything we needed for our trip (including... read more some food/beverages to get us started), and was very conveniently located - easy driving distance to Lucca, Pisa, Florence and many other smaller surrounding towns. The grocery store was only 10 minutes away and there were plenty of activities at Franco's property to keep our kids occupied: soccer fields, table tennis and a a great pool. Franco was available always to help with good suggestions for things to do. We highly recommend this property as a great place to stay for anyone traveling for some time in this area.

  We had an absolutely wonderful and magical stay in the Stone House villa in Borgo ai Lecci in Orentano. Franco and his family are outstanding hosts who attend to every... read more need of their guests! We were a multi-generational group of 11, ranging in age from 1-74, and celebrating a family reunion. The Stone House villa is so comfortable and welcoming, and with a variety of amenities. Aside from spending relaxing time by the pool and garden areas, we were able to take numerous, lovely excursions throughout the Tuscan countryside (all for less than a 30 minute drive) to Montecarlo, San Miniato, Montecatini Terme, Lucca and the Pinocchio Park in Collodi. Franco and his family pampered us with a delicious Welcome Dinner and we took advantage of the Pasta Making Workshop they offered. The panoramic landscape of olive trees surrounding the property was so special, and as a family we created many beautiful memories during our stay! Grazie Franco! We hope to return one day!

  En Helt igennem fantastisk ferie i Francos skønne Stone hus. Vi var 10 Pers. Som har haft den bedste ferie oplevelse man kunne ønske sig.

Franko og hans... read more datter Sonia, var altid til rådighed, de leverede den bedst mulige service, man kunne ønske sig. Billederne er gode, men virkeligheden overgik langt billederne, da det var mere lækkert i virkeligheden.

Lige fra ankomsten, følte man sig velkommen. De havde sørget for at der ved ankomst, var hjemmebagt kager, frugt samt div. Drikkevare. Der var også sørget for, der var til den første morgenmad. Der var desuden grillkul og optænding, samt deres egen hjemme presset olivenolie mm.

Francos service var langt ud over hvad man kan forvente, som foruden hans meget nyttige vejledninger og forklaringer til div. Ture til Luca og Pisa, hjalp Franco også med at få min bil til mekaniker, hvor han kørte med for at hjælpe med at tolke mm. så tusind tak for hjælpen!!

Vi giver Franco og hans familie 10 ud af 10 og kommer Meget gerne tilbage igen.

We and our family and friends enjoyed it immensely. There was plenty of space, beautiful surroundings, fun activities for all ages and delicious food, if you chose to have some meals made.
We loved the small, quiet town of Orentano- very local and quaint. Nearby Altopascio has all the amenities you may need.
And it’s close to many tourist sites- easy drives to them. Most of all, the warmth and kindness of the family was so nice - We would love to come back someday.

Franco war immer erreichbar und hat uns mit Restaurant-und Ausflugstipps weitergeholfen. Das ganze Gelände ist top gepflegt und es gibt Fußballtore und andere Spielsachen für Kinder .
Man spürt und sieht,wie viel Liebe Franco und seine Familie in die Unterkunft stecken.

  I was drawn to Franco’s place because of rave reviews from prior guests, and was not disappointed. The Stonehouse is beautifully restored with every detail carefully curated (I loved the... read more stone sink in the kitchen and beautiful wooden joinery detail); it also has all the mod cons, including air conditioning. We were greeted by Franco and his daughter on arrival (both having stayed up until after midnight because of our delayed flight), shown around the beautiful house and grounds and plied with amazing home-baked treats. From there our stay just got better - we enjoyed the beautiful large private pool, (a selection of inflatables supplied for the kids!), ping pong and foosball tables. Franco had excellent suggestions for outings to local cities (Pisa, Lucca, Florence, and some smaller towns) and we found his directions for parking, which museums to go to, etc, incredibly helpful. We enjoyed a pasta making class with Franco and also his wife’s delicious catering. Would love to return.
